Cubitron II flap disc 969F features our highest performance precision shaped ceramic grain. This grain type, unique to 3M, avoids glazing by maintaining super-sharp edges throughout the life of the disc making it ideal for heavyweight applications such as weld grinding and bevelling. It’s designed for high pressure applications on flat surfaces or outside edgework, especially in paint prep and stainless steel fabrication where final finish and gouge resistance are important. The ideal choice for one-step grinding and finishing. Featuring a tough polyester backing, to hold up under demanding applications like heavy grinding, edge deburring and bevelling. Applicable for bevelling, edge deburring, aggressive weld removal.
